Freight

Freight is the movement of goods in bulk from one destination to another via ship, truck, train, or aircraft.

  • Ship freight or vessel freight is used to move container loads of goods across water. Containers can be FCL (full container load) or LCL (less than container load) depending on how many goods you are trying to move. This is a typical freight method for international transit.
  • Truck freight is used to move trailer loads of goods across land. Containers can be FTL (full trailer load) or LTL (less than trailer load). This is a typical method of domestic transit.
  • Train freight is used to move container loads of goods across land. Containers can be FTL or LTL.
  • Aircraft freight is used to move pallets of goods by air. This is the most expensive freight method and is typically used for rush deliveries.

Blackbox works with all major carriers across these freight methods and uses a combination of these freight modes to get your goods where you need them, when you need them.

We offer freight forwarding, customs clearance, and freight tracking.
